College editor to be fired for publishing cartoons

The editor of a student newspaper at the University of Illinois has been suspended from his position for publishing six of the Muhammad cartoons.

Carl Simpson writes:

It just keeps getting worse and worse! Where’s the ACLU? Where’s Barry Lynn at Americans United? The one good thing about this is that the masks worn by the ACLU, Lynn, et al for decades are now in tatters - revealing the face of leftist treason. The truth is being revealed for any with the eyes to see.

I think we can say the cartoon jihad has been the most clarifying single event in historical memory:

The Muslims have perfectly revealed themselves; they want to bring non-Muslims under Islamic blasphemy law, including the death penalty. And, settling a debate that has gone on for four years, they don’t hate us because we have “occupied” Muslim land or because we are friends with Israel; they hate and are ready to kill all the citizens of any non-Muslim country if one newspaper in that country prints satiric cartoons about Muhammad.

The left have perfectly revealed themselves; they don’t believe in freedom of expression, they believe in destroying the West and submitting it to Islam.

President Bush and his Secretary of State have perfectly revealed themselves; they don’t believe in universal freedom and democracy, they believe in including and appeasing Islam.

And the anti-American right, or at least Patrick Buchanan, has perfectly revealed himself; he doesn’t believe in defending America and the West, he believes in surrendering to and appeasing Muslims at all costs.
