A year in Mesopotamia
Allan Wall is home from his 11-month stint with the Texas National Guard in Iraq, which he summarizes at vdare.com. Among other interesting things he has to tell, his base in southern Iraq encompassed the ruins of Ur. Now that he is back, Mr. Wall feels free to explain that he disagrees with the general direction of our Iraq policy. While failing to address our own National Question, we have, he says, made Iraq’s National Question our own.
