Israel after Sharon

Daniel Pipes offers sensible commentary on the political fall-out of Prime Minster Sharon’s illness. With no successor for Sharon, the revolution he had recently worked in Israel by leaving Likud and forming his own party will come to an end. Likud will regain its former strength and lead Israel in a more realistic direction vis à vis the Palestinians.
