Liberal paper calls Clarence Thomas “black man with an asterisk”

As reported by NewsMax, an editorial in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel was “chock full of buzzwords straight out of the Democratic Party talking-points” used to attack Samuel Alito’s nomination. The choice of Alito, the paper said, “lessens the extent to which the court mirrors the nation’s rich diversity,” and for that reason should be rejected.

But it gets worse. “In losing a woman,” the editorial continues, “the court with Alito would feature seven white men, one white woman and a black man, who deserves an asterisk because he arguably does not represent the views of mainstream black America.”

The editorial was undoubtedly written by a black. Only a black liberal would say something like this.
