Omar Sharif threatened by Al Qaeda

Omar Sharif, now 73, was raised a Christian in Egypt, and converted to Islam in the 1950s, but he recently returned to his Christian roots when he played St. Peter in an Italian tv film. After making the movie, he said that the role moved him so deeply that he doesn’t think he will be able to play another role again. For this, an Al Qaeda website has called for his death. And notice the language the charmers used: “He is a crusader who is offending Islam and Muslims and receiving applause from the Italian people. I give you this advice, brothers, you must kill him.” It’s that shame and honor thing again. He offended Muslims, therefore he must die. But of course all of us infidels offend Muslims, with every breath we take.
