Administration has backed away from democracy argument

According to an article by David Sanger in The New York Times, more and more people in the administration are admitting that it was a mistake to argue that the creation of democracy in Iraq would bring an end to the insurgency. Sorry for boasting, folks, but if all these strategic wizards had been reading this website for the last two years (written by a person who has zero expertise in military and strategic matters but who simply tries to think logically), they would have realized that painfully obvious point a lot sooner and we would have been spared oceans of nonsense.
