Sandy Koufax, the shut-out king

Powerline has uncovered what they describe as the most amazing statistic in the history of baseball, and I agree with them: In games in which the Dodgers scored just one run, Sandy Koufax’s won-lost record was better than .500. In other words, when the Dodgers had to keep their opponents to zero runs in order to win the game, Koufax accomplished that more than half the time. It seems literally unbelievable.
