Sheehan to address LRC meeting

If you’ve been hiding out for the last several years and need further proof that Lew Rockwell and his paleo-libertarian circle are anti-American (yes, there is such a thing as anti-Americanism), check out the announcement on their upcoming conference. Among the speakers is Cindy Sheehan, that great liberal hero who has called President Bush “the world’s biggest terrorist”; who has said that al Qaeda may not be behind the 9/11 attack; who has said that Bush and the neoconservatives instigated the war on Iraq for the sake of Israel; and who has said that the U.S. should withdraw from Afghanistan where it is “bombing innocent people.” Ironically, among the topics to be addressed in the conference is “The real reasons the neocons hate LRC.” Hmm, let’s see, what could these “real” reasons be, which we wouldn’t know without this conference to tell us? Could it be that the Rockwellites are the kind of people who invite an anti-American nutcase like Cindy Sheehan to address their conference?
