Trad cons and “Clash” cons

In May 2003, I offered a definition of traditionalist conservatism (in the second-to-last paragraph of the linked blog entry) that may be worth taking another look at. In reply, a commenter gave this useful definition of a genuine conservative: a person who believes in the clash of civilizations.
