A plea for Terri Schiavo’s life
Here is a letter I’ve e-mailed to Gov. Bush:
Hon. Jeb Bush Dear Gov. Bush: I urge you to use your police powers as governor to order Terri Schiavo’s feeding tube to be re-connected. The courts are not the final arbiters of life and death. If you think the Florida courts are wrong in declaring unconstitutional the law passed by the legislature in 2003 to save Mrs. Schiavo’s life, then you must act. With a single word, you have the power to save this innocent woman’s life and stop this atrocity from happening. You are the only person in the world who can save her.
