What the West should do about Western jihadists

Some readers have criticized my article, “The West’s Paralysis over Western Muslims,” because they felt I spoke too broadly about removing “Muslims” per se from the West. In particular, I wrote:

For the present, it remains inconceivable that we would oppose, let alone kick out a significant number of the Muslims whom we have so foolishly permitted en masse into America.

Clearly the passage would have been improved had I qualified my terms. I was referring in shorthand to previous writings of mine where I’ve discussed this issue in detail and provided more nuance. Please see my article, “How to Defeat Jihad in America,” in which I spell out a specific set of proposals on what we should do about the jihad-supporting population in our country.
