Ruddy calls for withdrawal

He was doubtful about the invasion of Iraq beforehand, and now Christopher Ruddy of NewsMax is calling for the withdrawal of U.S. forces within the next 18 months. He says the building of democracy in that country is a pipe dream. What we should have done, from the moment the Hussein regime fell, was build up a new Iraqi army which could have served as a unifying national institution. Tragically, such a sensible thought didn’t occur to Boilerplate and his hapless crew of liberal democrats.
