An exchange about women in the military

Correspondent to LA:

I am mortified that women in the American military are being used in any combat roles. The problem is, not many folks I mention this obscenity to seem to care one way or another. You get that proverbial “blank look”.

LA to Correspondent:

That’s right, man. We don’t have political correctness anymore. We’re beyond such crudities. We just have the “blank look.”
