Bin Laden promises safety to U.S. states that vote for Kerry

In his speech directed at the American people, the mass murderer Osama bin Laden said:

Your security is not in the hands of Kerry or Bush or Al-Qa’ida. Your security is in your own hands, and any U.S. state that does not toy with our security automatically guarantees its own security.

According to MEMRI, the true meaning of this passage with its reference to “any U.S. state” was missed by American media. MEMRI quotes the Islamist website Al-Qal’a, which explains what bin Laden was really saying:

This message was a warning to every U.S. state separately. When he [Osama Bin Laden] said, “Every state will be determining its own security, and will be responsible for its choice,” it means that any U.S. state that will choose to vote for the white thug Bush as president has chosen to fight us, and we will consider it our enemy, and any state that will vote against Bush has chosen to make peace with us, and we will not characterize it as an enemy. By this characterization, Sheikh Osama wants to drive a wedge in the American body, to weaken it, and he wants to divide the American people itself between enemies of Islam and the Muslims, and those who fight for us, so that he doesn’t treat all American people as if they’re the same.

He can only “promise safety” from *himself* and those in his control. Otherwise, the work of the Prophet goes on unimpeded in any land uncareful enough to allow his followers entry.

There are 10 stories up on Timesonline.co.uk Breaking News right now. Here are 30% of them:

SEVEN DEAD IN ETHNIC [i.e., religious] RIOT
Thousands of police patrolled a tense town after street fights between members of the country’s main ethnic group and a Muslim minority left seven people dead and 42 injured. As many as 5,000 people fought with clubs and burned several houses during weekend violence in Langchenggang in Henan province, central China. Vehicles with loudspeakers strapped to their roofs drove through the dirt roads broadcasting appeals for calm following the violence between Hui Muslims and members of the Han ethnic majority.

INDIAN POLICE BATTLE RIOTERS
Indian police battled crowds of Muslim demonstrators after a young protester was killed trying to stop the arrest of a religious leader in the southern city of Hyderabad. At least 10 people were injured, some of them policemen. The violence broke out as thousands of people poured through the streets as the body of Mujahid Saleem Azmi, 20, who died after being shot twice by police, was taken from a hospital to his home.

4 DIE AS FATHER STABS 7 DAUGHTERS
A man angry with fathering no sons stabbed four of his seven daughters to death as they slept and seriously wounded the other three in southern Egypt. Abdel Nasser Ibrahim, 47, a mosque prayer caller in Tima, 215 miles from Cairo, repeatedly stabbed his seven sleeping daughters with two knives in a spree lasting just several minutes, police said. Killed were Samar, 15; Isra, 10; Fatima, eight; and Zeinab, seven. The screams of the three wounded daughters alerted neighbours who contacted police.

Three of the other seven stories were about Islamic clashes with the West— Iraq, Arafat, Afghan hostages— and another about the Milosevic trial with an Islamic subtext.

60% of the “breaking news” in the world backs Huntington’s assertion that “the borders of Islam are bloody”!

It seems OBL is a little behind the times. A divided nation we already are and it’s the work of internal subterfuge. This was an appeal to the anti-war cabal, plain and simple. OBL even highjacked anti-war talking points showing a complete disdain for America and Americans. This was a covert admission of the need for a reprieve and a beckon to those with an affinity for appeasement. He’s appealing to “useful idiots.”

One of those “useful idiots” is running for president against GWB.

Two of the three non-Mohammedan headlines on the page referred to other external and/or internal “clashes of civilizations”: “China attacks Bush over world rule” and “Anglican gay rift widens”. The only bright spot was the boy pulled out of the well.

Mr. Auster has brought up one of the reasons I have decided to vote for the awful Bush after work. The awful Kerry will try and fail to appease the Saddam Hussein and Bin Laden types. But awful choices in this election can motivate us to commit ourselves to work very hard peacefully to reform our politics. A small, energetic people can accomplish miracles: Jewish people and Israel, for example. That is how I am dealing with my anguish over having to vote for Bush. I will work harder. We dearly need a leader who will tell us this over and over again. I wish I could legally write-in Tancredo.
