Liberal apotheosis in New Jersey

The governor of New Jersey hires as his homeland security director, at a six figure salary, a non-citizen with whom he is having an adulterous (if that’s the right word) homosexual relationship, and who has no experience in security. This is not a liberal trifecta, it’s a liberal quatrofecta.

After all, liberalism is about breaking down boundaries, isn’t it? James McGreevey emerges as a liberal hero.

I said once to a conservative wit, while talking about the craziness of modern society, “How many perversities can be sqeezed into a single situation?” and he answered, “America is about finding out!”
