Washington Post unlikely to support Kerry

I said a few months ago that if Howard Dean became the Democratic nominee, the Washington Post would decline to endorse him, and that it would do so for the same reason it declined to endorse Dukakis in 1988, because of his weak or non-existent foreign policy. Now that Dean is out of the picture, it’s evident that John Kerry faces the same problem. This editorial makes clear the Post’s deep skepticism about Kerry’s seriousness vis à vis Iraq.
