EU spikes report detailing Muslim Jew-hatred

“The European Union’s racism watchdog has shelved a report on anti-semitism because the study concluded Muslims and pro-Palestinian groups were behind many of the incidents it examined.” From a story in the Financial Times.

Here is another reason why anyone who values Western civilization should utterly reject the EU and all its works. It is a culturally suicidal project devoted to the destruction of its member-states as Western, Christian nations. The leading Eurocrats have no opposition in principle to mass immigration of Moslems and other non-Westerners into the EU, and have an enormous stake in denying the truth about much of what is behind the explosion of criminality in Western European countries.

The ability to accuse opponents of anti-Semitism has always been a convenient tool that Leftists use to suppress questioning of their destructive policies, as are accusations of racism and, now, “sexism” and “homophobia.” In the pursuit of diversity and multiculturalism, this only works if the alleged anti-Semites are white Christian natives. When it turns out that today’s real anti-Semites are mostly unassimilated Moslem immigrants, the Eurocrats’ world-view cracks. That cannot be allowed, so it is suppressed.

Reporting of anti-Semitic attacks, especially of those in France, has been very dishonest about the true identity of the perpetrators. Even in the American press, often on the part of writers angered by French opposition to the Bush administration’s Middle East policies, stories have contented themselves with describing anti-Semitic criminals as French, when in fact they are almost all Berbers and Arabs. We can never solve our problems if we lie about what they are. HRS

This is just great. Less than a month ago we learn of a Euro poll showing that 59% of of Europeans believe Israel poses the biggest threat to world peace, ahead of the U.S., Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and North Korea. http://www.eubusiness.com/afp/031030153736.jdyshutd

That one was allegedly suppressed too, at least initially. Now we find the Europas spiking a report on anti-Semitism because it points the finger at certain groups whose anti-Semitism is already patently obvious! Would they have been as reluctant if whites as a whole group were shown to be the primary culprits? or at least if ‘diverse’ groups were ‘equally’ to blame?

To stop these anti-Semitic incidents, it might be helpful to confirm who’s perpetrating them, (as if we don’t already know.) Just who exactly is trying to protect whom from exactly what, and why exactly?

We also saw the headlines about the “British suicide bombers” who blew up a bunch of people in Israel not too long ago (they turned out to be Pakistani Muslim immigrants to England or their first-generation “British” offspring or something).

Well, at this rate, perhaps we can soon expect to start hearing about the “British religion of peace,” the “American religion of peace,” the “Western religion of peace.”

I think Mr. Sutherland deserves a SHACK! himself for that one. The Jewish minority remaining is Europe is very small, I expect, and about to become almost non-existant. If I were a Jew living in France, for example, I would very seriously consider moving to Israel about now.

Howard Sutherland is quite right about the dishonesty reporting that ignores the origin of the perpetrators of anti-Semitic incidents in Europe. I am sorry to say that many Jewish organizations and publications have in effect connived in this; and they, and almost everyone else, have ignored attacks made on Christian Europeans by Muslim immigrants, which have been particularly gross in France and the Low Countries.

Greetings from Europe.

No need to get upset. It appears the left is just being itself and doing what the left does best. They know what is good for us and believe we are incapable of thinking or doing anything for ourselves. They have a streak of selfrighteousness that any islamofascist would be proud of. As for the EU it has been an extremist left wing fundamentalist project from the start which is why it is doomed to failure when it is put before it’s Citizens votes.

Over to the report: the Telegraph parses it best - so I quote:

the European Union’s Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia has decided to shelve its report on the rise of anti-Semitism on the Continent. The problem, as reported in The Telegraph, is that the survey had found that “many anti-Semitic incidents were carried out by Muslim and pro-Palestinian groups”, and so a “political decision” was taken not to publish it because of “fears that it would increase hostility towards Muslims”.

Let’s go back over that slowly and try not to get a headache: the EU’s main concern about an actual epidemic of hate crimes against Jews is that it could provoke a hypothetical epidemic of hate crimes against Muslims. You couldn’t ask for a better illustration of the uselessness of these thought-police bodies: they’re fine for chastising insufficiently guilt-ridden whites in an ongoing reverse-minstrel show of cultural self-abasement, but they don’t have the stomach for confronting real racism. A tolerant society is so reluctant to appear intolerant, it would rather tolerate intolerance.

In Holland, the late Pim Fortuyn recognised that at some point the contradiction has to be resolved. In Nigeria and Sudan and other frontiers between the ummah and the rest of the world, it already has - in favour of sharia and the Islamists. It’s hard to see why the enervated West should prove any more successful at squaring the circle. But we can at least cherish the absurdities on the way down: European Jews menaced by anti-Semites get less attention than American Muslims menaced by polysemites.

We are not brain dead in Europe. Don’t let the media fool you.

That was a first-rate comment by Alan MG. What a breath of fresh air it is to read comments like his and those of Czech President Vaclav Klaus coming out of the Old World for once, after being forced for years to subsist on a steady diet of the usual European brain-dead ultra-PC extreme radical Tranzi/Left zombies mindlessly mouthing the same hollow phrases of emptiest meaninglessness over and over again until you can’t tell whether it’s real or just all the echoes reverberating around in that vast yawning gaping chasm of nothingness which they hewed out of the place where truth was supposed to be.

I second Unadorned’s praise for the fine commentary of Alan MG - who is definiely not a brain-dead Euro Eloi. Perhaps he is right that we can at least laugh at the absurdities on the way down. However, my hope is that we can mock the absurdities of the leftists while they are on their way down. Maybe in the manner of Elijah mocking the priests of Baal before their much-deserved demise.

I also second Unadorned’s praise for Mr. MG. Also, Unadorned’s dithyrambs keep getting better and better!

Mr. MG wrote: “A tolerant society is so reluctant to appear intolerant, it would rather tolerate intolerance.” I invite Mr. MG to read an article of mine in which I make the same point, “Liberalism: The Real Cause of Today’s Anti-Semitism.”

Alan MG, please provide a link to a European traditionalist site you favor. Traditionalists need all the help they can get, and it would help all if we linked up.
