Michigan’s lie about diversity

In pressing its case before the Supreme Court, the University of Michigan claimed that its admissions policies foster an educational “diversity” that—in line with Justice Powell’s notion of the sort of “diversity” that justifies racial discrimination against whites—enriches the educational experience of Michigan’s students. A recent graduate of Michigan, James Justin Wilson, reveals the truth behind that claim. The reality of diversity is systematic racial separatism—from separate minority freshman orientation to separate minority dorms to separate minority graduations. The liberal dupes on the Supreme Court failed to see through Michigan’s blatant leftist lie that it was living up to Justice Powell’s ideal.
