Gay-marriage proponent also urged polygamy

Stanley Kurtz writing at The Corner exposes a fraudulent argument for homosexual marriage. It seems that columnist Steve Chapman of the Chicago Tribune had criticized opponents of single-sex marriage for failing to see its supposed “conservative” potential, i.e. that it would strengthen the institution of monogamy, blah blah. But then it turned out that Chapman had written an earlier column in which he attacked the ban on polygamy and—guess what?—made a “conservative” argument for polygamy, that it would encourage “responsible” behavior, blah blah.

Leftism is politicized evil. Leftists want what they want, and will say anything to help justify it.
