Animal rights

This seems funny: Bovine Badinage, on animal rights demands. The problem is that nothing the Left does is funny, especially if it seems really crazy. “Crazy” means that the concepts are different from the ones you’re used to, and you’re just starting to see the consequences. As time goes on you’ll see more, much more. Cass Sunstein, whom the David Limbaugh article quotes, is in fact a rather sensible and moderate person among law-school liberals.

Animal rights is not a matter of being kind to animals. It’s the soft-and-fuzzy side of the abolition of humanity. If a man is no different than a dog, why not treat the two the same? That line of thought, of course, has other consequences that are not at all soft and fuzzy.
